Robert Ridge, MBA
President and CEO
Robert holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and has diverse executive experience spanning the for-profit and non-profit sectors in the fields of health, entertainment, and heavy construction. Robert has worked broadly within MedicAlert holding various senior roles, including Vice President, in order to ensure that members have access to the highest quality emergency health information services available in Canada.
Camille Krupa
Vice-President, Marketing
Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, majoring in Marketing, Camille brings a wealth of consumer marketing experience to MedicAlert helping such iconic brands as Captain Morgan Rum, Laura Secord and The Body Shop focus and flourish. She has worked in various business development and marketing positions and is experienced in all areas of consumer communication for both large and small organizations. In her current position, Camille’s mandate is to ensure MedicAlert continues to fulfill the needs of all Canadians providing the highest quality emergency health information services available.
Michael Shreve
Director, Systems and Supply Chain, Chief Privacy Officer
Michael brings 18 years of experience managing mission-critical operations, extensive systems knowledge, strategic planning and vendor management skills; and he has held senior level roles in both the public and private sectors. Michael joined MedicAlert in 2002, he began his current role in 2006 and is responsible for Information Systems and Technology, Manufacturing, and Supplier Relationships, as well as Privacy and Security.
Michael's current focus is on developing MedicAlert's partnerships and e-health initiatives, with the aim to make it easier for all Canadians and health care providers to benefit from MedicAlert's lifesaving services.
Catherine Horlock
Director, Contact Centre
Catherine brings 19 years of Client Service and Team Building management in the Customer Service sector to her role at MedicAlert. Catherine most recently attended the Centre for Management Research (Harvard University). In 2008, Catherine transitioned onto the senior team from Manager to Director of the Contact Centre. Having joined MedicAlert 4 years ago, Catherine has provided strong leadership to all frontline service staff, and has successfully managed member expectations. Her duties as the Director of the Call Centre will focus on its growth and continued quality assurance, as well as continuing to manage the MedicAlert public volunteer program.
Dorothy Scanlon, CA
Director, Finance and Corporate Affairs
Dorothy earned her Chartered Accountant designation in 1993 after receiving an Honours Degree in Business Administration from Wilfred Laurier University. After seven years of finance experience at a software reseller, she joined MedicAlert as Controller in 2002. In her current role, Dorothy is responsible for financial reporting and internal controls, business risk management and statutory compliance.
