I never thought that I would be wearing a MedicAlert bracelet. I was a Paramedic for 40 years in the greater Vancouver area. It is impossible for me to estimate the number of times I encountered patients wearing their MedicAlerts. It was hundreds of times.

The number of times that it was responsible for saving patients lives is inestimable. There were also those patients whose life was not in danger, but the benefit of the MedicAlert was very apparent.

Now I wear one and I feel secure because of the bracelet.
