In an emergency:
- Emergency staff are trained to look for the most critical information engraved on the MedicAlert identification
- If required, emergency staff will call the 24 hour hotline for the full emergency medical record (even if outside of Canada)
- As an Advantage member, MedicAlert hotline will call your emergency contacts to let them know about the situation
