GPS Guardian Connect FAQs

How does GPS Guardian Connect work in an emergency?
How does GPS Guardian Connect work in an emergency?

GPS Guardian Connect uses these four steps to ensure you or someone for which you care remains safe at home or on-the-go.

  1. Help is requested by pressing the SOS button.
Or if the device detects a fall it will automatically call for help.

  2. Two-way voice communication with an Emergency Hotline Agent is established.
The agent will quickly assess the kind of help required.

  3. The agent detects the user’s location using GPS technology.
This can be critical if the user is unable to provide that information on their own.

  4. Emergency Services is contacted
If your situation requires it, the agent contacts Emergency Services and notifies your personal emergency contacts. If needed, the agent will stay on the line with you until help arrives.
