Primary Objectives:

The Manager, Safe and Found Program’s primary focus is to support the growth of the Safe and Found program through the development and management of relationships with various channel partners, specifically organizations supporting persons with dementia and their care partners.

The Manager, Safe and Found Program will collaborate cross-functionally with other organizational units to execute campaigns and initiatives which will drive program growth.

The Manager, Safe and Found Program will report directly to the VP, Research, Innovation and Programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • With the support of the VP, Research, Innovation and Programs, define and implement necessary plans to achieve organizational objectives for the Safe and Found Program including monthly and annual acquisition and retention targets that tie to overall program revenue growth
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Partnerships to identify and help secure corporate partnerships that help generate revenue for the Safe & Found program as well as visibility
  • Identify, secure, and onboard new channel partners
  • Provide support and training to channel partners to ensure program success
  • Manage and grow/expand relationships with existing program channel partners, and develop strategies to improve engagement and client adoption/uptake leading to program success
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with program channel partners, and work closely with them to achieve mutual goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on strategy and implementation of tactics and efforts in support of Program success
  • Create and manage Program budget and forecasts
  • Work directly with the Fundraising Team as the Safe & Found Program subject matter expert to support the creation of fundraising cases for support
  • Participate in donor cultivation and stewardship activities directly related to the Safe and Found Program
  • Develop, track, analyze, and report on channel partner metrics
  • Identify and resolve partner conflicts and challenges
  • Provide support and guidance to partners on MedicAlert service and product offerings
  • Attend related events and conferences to build partner relations and promote Safe and Found program to relevant stakeholders
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum BBA or equivalent work experience. MBA, MPA or MHA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ demonstrated experience in Program Management in a not-for profit organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in channel partnership development and implementation.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate, build and maintain relationships externally and internally
  • Demonstrated thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work towards tight deadlines, including last-minute changes, and alignment of resources to ensure priorities are met.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to partners and stakeholders
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Bilingual in English / French is an asset.
