HOW TO MEASURE YOUR WRIST for a MedicAlert ID bracelet
- It’s important for your MedicAlert bracelet to fit properly, so it’s secure and comfortable.
You can measure your wrist using either a measuring tape or a piece of string - Using a measuring tape, measure your wrist at the widest point
- For ease and accuracy, it’s recommended to ask another person to measure your wrist for you
- Make sure the measuring tape is firm but not tight on your wrist
Allow enough length for a comfortable fit - Using a piece of string, measure your wrist at the widest point

Hold the string in place using thumb and index finger - Still holding the string in place, line it up with the “0 inch” mark on a ruler and measure
- Once you’ve measured your wrist, you’re now ready to choose your MedicAlert ID
