Indigenous artist Wesley Havill (First Nation – Batchewana) has designed a stunning new addition for the MedicAlert Designer Collection. The Copper Mandala is hand-crafted and custom heat-treated using Wes’ proprietary technique for a truly one-of-a-kind piece of art. The Mandala is often used in prayer, meditation and blessings for spiritual guidance. A sacred symbol, the circle symbolizes the interconnectedness of the universe. There is no beginning and no end.

Copper, often referred to as “The Healing Metal,” is considered a sacred and spiritually significant material in Wes’ Ojibway culture. Copper is believed to provide protection to the wearer.

This product embraces natural hypoallergenic qualities. The Mandala is 2” x 2”, and materials used include hand cut leather lace, copper and stainless-steel beads. Designed and meticulously handcrafted in Canada, Wes’ design carries with it the spirit and the traditions of Indigenous artistry.

How does it work?

Each MedicAlert Kids ID bracelet is engraved with a personal ID number which connects First Responders to your child’s detailed Personal Health Record, reviewed and maintained by a team of internationally trained physicians, nurses, and other health professionals. By calling the 1-800 number on the back of the ID, First Responders will be connected to an agent at our 24/7 Emergency Response Hotline who can convey crucial health information at a time when it matters most.
