Alternative Shipping

While the situation between Canada Post and the Union of Canadian Postal Workers has not yet firmly resolved, a strike is looking less likely. As a result, MedicAlert has made the decision to resume our standard mailing and shipping practices. We will put orders placed over the last month in the mail as quickly as is possible. Please note that Canada Post shipping times may be longer than their standards while they continue with their labour negotiations. We thank everyone in advance for their patience and cooperation.

Until the Canada Post situation is firmly resolved, we will keep offering the alternative shipping and in-person pick up options. Should you wish to select the alternative delivery option, you will need to add it to your cart and select the province/region where you reside. The cost you are charged is based on courier delivery charges to your province/region and is subject to courier availability.

Please note that the standard shipping cost of $10.99 will be the default shipping charge for all our product purchases, as is our standard practice during regular business operations. If you choose the alternative delivery option, we will charge you an amount calculated by subtracting the cost of standard shipping from the cost of the alternative delivery charge (which varies depending on your location and is pending courier availability), so that you will not be paying for two different types of delivery.
